Asia Tour: Hong Kong

Where do I begin to describe my recent trip to Hong Kong? Amazing and life-changing for sure. I had a great time and after 2 weeks back, I finally had the chance to go through all of the pictures, all 1265 of them. Thank you for being patient and if I could have taken you all to  Hong Kong with me, I would have.

We would work our butts off, 10-16 hours a day. The weather was hot with 85% humidity, the flowers seemed to last longer. My skin looked great but my hair and lashes, well that’s another story. I have always thought of myself  being “best under pressure”  but this a true test since all of the work was done under the public eye. But every morning we would wake up to the busy streets and be rewarded with fresh Bao (steamed meat buns) for breakfast.

We would be surrounded  and be tempted by the most beautiful and luxurious fashions. The most wonderful tempura shrimp burger (a Japanese franchise called Mos Burger) and the best Cantonese food I have ever had in my entire life. We were awed by the city lights and the amount of people in tight places made me anxious but we made it. We made it to the top of Lantau Island to see the Giant Buddha of Po Lin Monastery where we took a deep breath and sat still while the mist engulfed us.

May 2012, I was invited by APM shopping mall  in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong to design 3 floral dresses, handbags and shoes for their Mother’s Day promotion and exhibition.  I also had a meet and greet day with the media and held 2 floral demonstrations.

I dont think I can describe it any way but what’s the old saying? Pictures are worth a thousand words..
